So I was wasting some time online today, and I found a bunch of videos on YouTube where people made Spongebob Squarepants sing other people’s songs. I saw one, then another and another. So, of course, I thought you all would benefit from me linking them all up. So here you go:
Spongebob does Metallica
Spongebob does Mims
Spongebob does Breaking Benjamin
Spongebob does Bon Jovi
Spongebob does Bury Your Dead
Spongebob does All American Rejects

Lately I’ve been thinking more about getting the word out on two local bands (well, local when I lived in Oregon, and when I return!) I think are the bees-knees. Wow, what a weird way to say I think they’re amazing! One band (800 Octane) is criminally overlooked in my opinion (and this isn’t influenced by the fact that I’m friends with them), and the other may get big in a bit, but I thought I’d give one extra push.

So, partially I’m trying to get WordPress 2 to let me embed video easily from YouTube, but this is just a cool video…if only I had a table to fold on, I’d be all over this!

update: It works! So, if you’re a fellow Wordpress user who is having difficulty embedding videos in your blog after you upgraded to WordPress 2.0.3, fear not! You can indeed use the WYSIWYG editor and still embed your videos with a simple plugin. It’s called Extreme Video, and the newest version even validates in XHTML Strict! Kudos.
